This puree is the perfect disguise for a fruit puree that has a secret veggie inside. The banana adds such a creamy and sweet factor, that your little one won’t even know they are eating vegetables! Bananas are such a familiar taste for babies, since it’s one of the first foods that your baby tries, so this is a nice transition to trying new flavors!
Apple, Banana, and Butternut Squash Puree
Ingredients
- 1 gala apple, chopped, skin removed
- 1 cup frozen or fresh butternut squash
- 1 banana
Instructions
- Add the apple and butternut squash to the Baby Bullet steamer and steam until soft. Cool completely.
- Add all ingredients, including the banana, to the Baby Bullet Blender. Puree until creamy. Add some of the cooking water to thin it out if needed. Refrigerate for 3-5 days, or freeze up to 3 months.
